With the arrival of the Ford Mustang in the middle of 1964 there had been a country wide sensation.

The 2nd variation was the 1965 Mustang GT introduced in Second-quarter of that year and at a price another $165! The GT option was available on the coupe, convertible or fastback models and came with some variations of its own. As for the power train there had been a choice between a 225 h.p. Or a 271 hp V-8 engine. All GT packages came with an upgraded instrument group, striping on the lower part of the body sides.
Whilst this early Mustang earned wide endorse and many recognitions perhaps the most noteworthy is the Tiffany Gong and the 1965 Mustang was the 1st car ever to win this award. This Mustang remains a genuine fave in the eyes of casual fans and collectors alike.
